Fair leadership and self-management
Fair Leadership is based on the concept of (bottom-up) uplifting rather than (top-down) repression. A Fair Leadership organisation uplifts everyone in the organisation and stimulates all to lift one another. Colleagues are not seen as competitors (for the favour of the boss), but rather as allies in the strive to achieve company goals.
In Fair Leadership organisations, the interests of the company are mirrored in the workers’ behaviour, and the interest of the workers are mirrored in the company. Fair Leadership stimulates empathy, co-operation, ownership, creativity, initiative and entrepreneurship.
In our presentation about the introduction of this concept to achieve self-management at Global textware, we will share the principles and experiences with you and encourage you to share your thoughts and experiences with us.
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” Mark Twain
