Keynote with Belinda Parmar OBE, CEO of The Empathy Business
Belinda is a regular keynote speaker on three big areas that are shaping our world: empathy, tech and business. She argues that technology is fuelling the empathy deficit despite its promises of democratisation, and that our biases are becoming embedded in our algorithms and empathy is becoming more scarce. Starting from the language we use, we need a new lens…the lens of empathy if we want a more equal society. Belinda puts the case for businesses to be more empathic, drawing on tangible ‘empathy nudges’ that companies can implement to become more diverse. All of her talks are based on real changes that she has made in global businesses which have impacted company performance.
