After graduating in computer science, Gordana entered the language industry as a software tester and a software engineer at the very beginning of localisation in Slovenia. Due to her organisational and managing skills and plans for company growth and expansion to new markets and areas, she took on establishing and managing big new projects like translating for EU institutions in 2004. With plenty of new business development ideas and with an enthusiastic approach towards team-work she moved to upper management. As a member of the board of directors and a co-owner of IOLAR, her main responsibilities are: account-management of large key clients, TTT conference board member and the conference’s programme committee chair, leadership and consulting of IOLAR’s EU projects team, leadership and consulting of IOLAR’s team for the ISO 17100 certification and passionate admin of IOLAR’s and TTT’s Facebook page. Gordana is also a proud member of Elia Board of Directors and she strongly believes in one of the early Elia slogans: “Get together, grow together”. Beside languages and literature, Gordana’s greatest passion is photography.
