Manal Amin is the founder and CEO of Arabize, and one of the first Egyptian entrepreneurs in language technology. She holds a BA in Political Science and a Diploma in translation. With over 30 years’ experience, Manal has mentored many ‘generations’ of localisers and technical writers and established the first localisation and content training centre in Egypt. She won the African ICT Champion award in 2013 and was ranked 77th among the 200 Most Powerful Women in the Middle East by Forbes Magazine in September 2014. Manal is currently on the Advisory Board of the School of Continuing Education, in the American University in Cairo.
