KEYNOTE: Reframing project management
Why do we think what we think, and why do we do what we do? Upon reflection, we find that our behaviour and our thinking are usually based on unexamined assumptions: we tend to do things because we were taught to do them in a certain way or because of historical or institutional legacies.
In this interactive lecture, we will start by exploring how key paradigm shifts today affect project management. We will then use the technique of reframing to analyse our assumptions about four key aspects of project management addressed at this event: time management, sales, communication/negotiation and cultural differences.
Can we change the way we think about project management, and can we start to act differently in order to become more efficient?
