Cristiana Luppi is originally from Italy. After graduating with honors in Foreign Languages from the University of Cagliari, she soon left her island to work in Brussels and Edinburgh in the EU sector until life brought her to settle in the Netherlands.
Cristiana entered the translation industry in 2001, starting as a Project Coordinator in a Japanese localisation and documentation company, Crestec Europe, with the European headquarters in Amsterdam. Since then she has had various leader and managerial roles mainly in project and quality management. Currently she is the Production Manager of a diverse and international team consisting of Project Coordinators, Editors, Localisation Engineers and Vendor Managers.
She truly enjoys the daily challenge of creating a bridge between the European and Asian business cultures, enhancing smooth communication at all levels and multicultural people management. Cristiana’s interests and expertise are in supplier and vendor management, standards and certifications, quality evaluation methodologies and tools.
