Loes Husain-Cornelissen studied Arabic language and literature and cultures of the Modern Near East at the Universities of Amsterdam, Leyden (Netherlands) and Damascus (Syria).
Dutch born and bred, Loes has lived in Australia, Syria and Mexico. Since 1989 she has been working with Professor Geert Hofstede, globally recognised as the most influential thinker on cultural differences.
Loes is currently coordinating training programmes that use the work of Professor Hofstede for industry, multinational corporations, NGOs and healthcare as well as for integration programmes for migrants.
She has travelled extensively for her work, but also out of sheer curiosity of the world.
