Venue website

The World Trade Center Barcelona (WTCB) is set right on the seafront in Barcelona’s Port Vell or ‘Old Harbor’. Designed by the US architect Henry N. Cobb, it was inspired by the lines of the ocean-going vessels and yachts that regularly cruise the Port of Barcelona and dock at the World Trade Center pier.
Barcelona is the traditional location to launch new Elia events, and we are proud to hold the first edition of ND Focus – Elia’s focus on Project Management in this lively and vibrant city.

    From Barcelona Airport (El Prat)

For more information about transportation to/from Barcelona Airport, please click here.

    Metro and train

The L9 Sud line has stations at both airport terminals: Terminal 1 (inside the building) and Terminal 2 (outside the building, next to the train station) and will connect you to the metro network. The metro costs €4.10 for a single journey from the airport.

The metro stops that serve the WTCB are Drassanes (L3 line) and Paral·lel (L3 and L2 lines).

Or you can take the R2 train, which departs every 30 minutes from the station outside Terminal 2, and change to the metro L3 line at Passeig de Gràcia and get off at either stop (Drassanes or Paral·lel). This will take about 25 minutes and will cost approx. €5-€7.

    Bus

The A2 Aerobus departs Terminal 2 every five minutes. You will need to change at Villarroel-Gran Via and get the bus (20 or V11), which will bring you to Moll de Barcelona in front of the WTCB. This will take about 45 minutes and will cost approx. €8-€10.

    Taxi

The airport is about 16km from WTCB and will cost approx. €25-€30 for a single (one way) journey and will take about 20 minutes. Taxi stops are in front of both airport terminals.

    From Barcelona Sants train station

There is no train station that stops close to the WTCB. The options are:
    1. Walk from Barcelona Sants to Sants Estació station (3 minutes), change to the L3 metro line and get off at Paral·lel or Drassanes. A bus is available at Paral·lel (20 or V11), which will take you to Moll de Barcelona in front of the WTCB. This will take about 20 minutes (plus 15 minutes if walking) and cost approx. €3.
    2. Take a taxi. This will cost approx. €10 for a single (one way) journey and will take about 20 minutes. Taxis can be found directly outside the station.
For information about the rail network in Spain, go to the Renfe website.

    • The L3 and L2 lines stop at Paral·lel, approximately 15 minutes’ walk
A bus is available at Paral·lel (20 or V11), which will take you to Moll de Barcelona in front of the WTCB.
