Together 2016: "Developing our Connections", Barcelona, WTC, 11-12 Feb, 2016

Networking Activities

Networking and social activities

What would an Elia event be without networking?
Networking and creating lucrative and ongoing partnerships are, after all, the hallmarks of all Elia events.

Schedule of networking activities

All activities will be held on Day 1 (11 February) in the the Port Vell room where coffee breaks and lunch will be served.

11:15 – 11:45 Why am I here?
So why did you come to Together 2016? And what is it that drew you to the language industry?
Explore these deep, philosophical questions whilst networking and making new contacts.

14:15 – 15:00 Blind drawing
Join us for a drawing-based activity that tests how good you are at giving and receiving instructions.
You may be surprised!

18:30 – 19:30 Cocktail and Networking Flea Market
Cocktail sponsored by Moravia

The networking activities were created by Blista Compact, named after the mythical car brand and founded by Gloria Gil, a teacher and entrepreneur with experience organising cultural and networking events for language and education companies. She enjoys creating enjoyment and using games as a learning method.

Her team for Together 2016 are Fran Murillo, poet, teacher and translator, and Marco Manrique, journalist and translator.
